ROCKVILLE, Md. – Ongoing Operations, LLC, a business continuity CUSO offering the credit union industry solutions for recovering operation facilities, has secured a 32,000-square foot facility in Hagerstown, Md. Opening for business in early 2006, the CUSO is located within driving distance of many major cities in the mid-Atlantic region, providing credit unions with a business continuity response in the event of a disaster, the company said. Most recently, $165 million Agriculture FCU, located in Washington D.C., joined Ongoing Operations as its seventh investor. It joins the six founding member credit unions: National Institutes of Health FCU; Northwest FCU; Department of Labor FCU; Synergy One FCU; Transportation FCU; and HEW FCU. The CUSO has also appointed Kirk Drake as its new president and CEO. Drake is also the vice president-information technology at the National Institutes of Health FCU. Ongoing Operations provides its member credit unions with three primary services should its operations become inaccessible for any reason. This includes a fully-equipped remote phone center, a complete data center and customizable workspace all designed to quickly replicate the normal work environment, minimize service disruption and ensure full business continuity.
