HARRISBURG, Pa. – Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union, known in the industry for its high-tech, few branches philosophy, has reached an impressive online milestone. The credit union reports that for the first time since integrating MasterCardr RPPSr with its existing bill pay solution, PSECU has broken the 100,000 mark in e-bills sent out in one month. PSECU went live with RPPS in early 2002, giving it access to over 2,000 merchants to send e-bills. PSECU said it spends four cents to process each e-bill, while paper bills cost approximately 60 cents each. Using that math, PSECU has saved roughly $405,000 during the first three quarters of the year.
