PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia Federal Credit Union has taken its financial literacy program to the virtual realm. The credit union has rolled out its Financial Fitness Video Library as an online seminar service for members and says it is the first CU to maintain the combination of an online library, in-house production and continuous access. Featuring PFCU Financial Educator Karl Bernhard seminar topics posted so far include how to plan and sustain a budget; how to create, maintain and read a credit report; and how to avoid identity theft. Educational videos are filmed, edited and uploaded at PFCU by the Information Services Department and are streamed from an internal video server for optimum efficiency.
