CUNA Mutual Life Insurance Programs Hit Emerald Isle

DUBLIN, Ireland – With the CUNA Mutual Group launch of CUNA Mutual Life Assurance (Europe) Ltd., all credit unions here will now have access to a variety of life insurance programs. The new company will provide Irish credit unions with financial services alternatives and focus initially on credit insurance programs, including loan protection, life savings and death benefit insurance. There are more than 400 credit unions in Ireland. Since 2003, CUNA Mutual has offered limited life insurance programs for select Irish credit unions through its association with Eagle Star Life Ltd. CUNA Mutual, through its International Division, serves credit unions or credit cooperatives in more than 25 countries and has been serving international financial institutions and their members/customers for more than 40 years.
