PORTLAND, Ore. – Point West Credit Union has named Alison Carr vice president of corporate development. Carr most recently served as the director of education/ training for the Credit Union Association of Oregon (CUAO). A 13-year veteran of the credit union movement, Carr has also served on the board of the Credit Union Women's Association, a Portland based credit union professional organization, and currently serves on the statewide steering committee for the Oregon Chapter of the National Jump$tart Coalition. Through CUAO's International Development committee, Carr played a role in partnering Oregon credit unions with the country of Uzbekistan, resulting in her participation in the opening of three new Uzbek credit unions in 2003. Carr graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Spanish and Business. She is also a graduate of the Credit Union Development Educators Program.
