FAIRBORN, Ohio – Paxar FCU, Miamisburg, Ohio and Lake Community FCU, Hartville, Ohio, are the newest credit unions to form a mortgage alliance with myCUmortgage. myCUmortgage is a division of Wright-Patt CU's wholly-owned CUSO. In addition to the two newest CUs, 28 other Ohio credit unions have partnerships with myCUmortgage, comprising more than 217,000 members and $1 billion in total assets. As a result of Paxar's and Lake Community's partnership with myCUmortgage, the CUs' members – 1,741 and 2,815, respectively – will be able to apply for a mortgage in person or by completing a 20-minute secured Internet application from their personal computer. myCUmortgage says members will receive a loan decision within three to five minutes. Wright-Patt CU says MyCUmortgage makes it possible for credit unions of any size to offer mortgage services. Launched in September 2004, it offers an entire seamless mortgage processing operation and a Web site branded with each participating credit union's name, provided by Prime Alliance Solutions.
