I want to comment on the vendors credit unions use. As we all know the bank-affiliated vendors are supporters of the American Bankers Association, but still many credit unions support them. We are only as strong as our weakest link and supporting vendors who directly or indirectly support the ABA and its movement to "conquer" credit unions is just a "crime" against what we as credit unions are trying to accomplish. No one can convince me that there are not credit union vendors out there, including corporate credit unions, that have competitive if not superior products. Organizations like CUNA Mutual and corporate credit unions are partners owned by us and intertwined throughout our credit union movement.
