WARNER ROBINS, Ga.- A "See the Big Picture" E-Statement promotion has not only benefited Ellis Brezial who won a Samsung 42″ Plasma television but Robins Federal Credit Union's bottom line. "We've seen great results from the E-Statement promotions, gaining thousands of new accounts and it's teaching the members that they can save time and money with this FREE service," said Robins FCU Vice President of Marketing Dee Dee Ct. Designed to increase the number of members who receive e-statements, member who sign up are entered in a raffle for an opportunity to win a prize. There have been three e-statement promotions, two for the age group 18 and older, and one youth promotion since January. The average adult promotion lasts two months and has brought in 500-plus accounts per month, compared to a non-promotional period average of 115 accounts per month. With the growing threat of identity theft and prizes ranging from laptops, palm pilots, digital cameras and printers to Game-boys, members have been eager to sign up. Over 13,000 members now receive e-statements resulting in a savings for Robins FCU of over $200,000 annually, which including postage, inserts, and envelopes is an average monthly savings of $1.30 per person.
