SAN DIEGO – CU Executives Inc., a recruiting service specializing in senior managers and IT professionals, is joining with CUjobs.com, an online job posting service. CUExecs (www.cuexecs.com) will post its clients' openings on www.cujobs.com and direct traffic there, as well. Both are based in San Diego. "This alliance seems like a good match for both companies," says Elaine Boyd, principal and founder of CU Execs. Mike Lawson, president of CUjobs.com, which provides space for postings for $1 a day, says "We feel that by working closely with CU Execs, we can help promote jobs who want to further their careers within this dynamic industry." Meanwhile, Callahan & Associates has upgraded its Executive Career Center at www.creditunions.com. Postings for credit union executive jobs are free and also can be posted on the widely used CareerBank.com network of financial services Web sites for a reduced charge of $289. "CareerBank.com was an obvious choice for a partnership," said Sara Wolfe, human resources manager at Callahan & Associates in Washington, D.C. "CreditUnions.com provides the ideal niche exposure to credit unions, while CareerBank.com offers added exposure targeted for financial service professionals." Wolfe says her organization hopes the Executive Career Center helps keep talent at home by helping to place executives within the credit union industry.
