VALLEY FORGE, Pa. – Theresa Benavidez, one of the first employees of credit union data processor Symitar Systems, has changed coasts and joined USERS as SVP and chief technology officer. She was director of operations for Symitar when she left the company, a company where she spent 20 years. “This was an unprecedented opportunity for USERS to add to our executive management team, during a period of strong growth, an individual with experience, talent, and passion for the credit union industry that is the equal of most anyone that I know,” said John Schooler, USERS’ president. “USERS will continue to invest in the top-tier talent that can help take our organization to the next level.” Benavidez will head up USERS’ product development, delivery and support organizations, which serve a client base of more than 330 credit unions. “It’s an exciting time to join USERS – a time of very healthy growth and market momentum for the company,” said Benavidez.
