Holy Rosary Credit Union, Rochester, N.H., has presented Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Health Foundation with a donation of $5,000 in support of the new Community Dental Center. The Community Dental Center will provide low-income, uninsured and underinsured residents living in the hospital’s service area with dental care. Credit Union West, Glendale, Ariz., has donated $4,525 to the Westside Food Bank. The contribution is part of an on-going community service initiative by the credit union, in support of the food bank. Delta Employees Credit Union, Atlanta, has raised $14,078.55 for the Fayette County, Georgia Relay for Life campaign. DECU participated with Delta Air Lines in the annual fundraising campaign and Relay for Life walk and was recognized for raising the second-highest amount of funds among Delta departments. T & C Federal Credit Union, Bloomfield Hills, Mich., has recently held car washes at its Pontiac, Orion, and White Lake Branches as one of its fundraising initiatives for the Relay For Life. A total of 67 T&C volunteers helped out and raised $738 for the cause. All proceeds will go directly to the Relay For Life Cancer Walk to help benefit the American Cancer Society. First Service Federal Credit Union, Groveport, Ohio, staffers have donated their time to take pledges during the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon benefiting Columbus Children’s Hospital. The credit union’s staff appeared on WBNS-10TV taking call-in pledges from the Central Ohio Community. The telethon raised a total of $7,187,806 for Columbus Children’s Hospital.
