MEMPHIS – The $550 million Memphis Area Teachers’ CU found its new CEO within its own walls. MATCU has named its executive vice president Carlos Webb as its new CEO. Webb replaces the venerable Ray Algee, who spent 10 years as CEO of MATCU. “Sometimes when a change of leadership is precipitated by the retirement of a highly capable CEO, others within the organization must search far and wide for a successor they believe will be able to lead the organization..We are very fortunate that Carlos Webb has been a part of the MATCU family, and a key leader within our organization, for many years,” said MATCU Chairwoman M.P. Carter. Webb has been with MATCU for 20 years and has 30 years of financial industry experience.
