MALVERN, Ark. – Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union has named Kathy Perkins vice president of branch operations. She brings some 21 years of banking experience and most recently served as assistant vice president in lending for Southern State Bank. “The credit union has a vast array of services to offer its members and I’m excited to share that with the people of this community,” said Perkins. Perkins will have her hands full as the credit union has recently announced the purchase of 1.14 acres of land in Hot Springs, Arkansas. “Our recent change to a community charter has expanded the credit union’s membership scope to the five-county Diamond Lakes Region of Arkansas,” said Diamond Lakes FCU Board Chairman Wayne Reynolds. “With over 25% of our members living in the Hot Springs area and over 50% working there it makes sense to locate a full service branch in the hub of activity for the region.”
