SAN JOSE, Calif. – Alliance Credit Union is helping locals here go out to the ballpark this summer by sponsoring Minor League Baseball's San Jose Giants 2005 season. “Alliance Credit Union has been serving the Valley for over 50 years, and we have always supported local organizations like the San Jose Giants” said Emily Condon, vice president of marketing. “It's important to us because these groups help define the cultural character of this valley, making it a better place for everyone to live and work in. We're proud to be a part of that.” The credit union's partnership with the San Jose Giants includes events such as Kids Eat Free Sundays and Saturday game Alliance CU Cash Grab. In addition, on Credit Union Day June 17, fans can learn about the advantages of being a member at the CU booth strategically placed at the entrance of the Giants stadium. As part of the deal, special Alliance CU Home Run Inning announcements will air during radio broadcasts of the San Jose Giants game on local KNTS 1220 AM. Here's how it works- if a San Jose Giants player hits a home run during the Alliance CU inning, a fan will win a prize from the credit union.
