HALES CORNER, Wis. – Members in five Wisconsin counties will soon have access to business services thanks to a new alliance between Corporate Central Credit Union’s CUSO, Business Lending Services, LLC and Summit Credit Union. The agreement allows the $628 million credit union to offer a complete business banking package to members who live in Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Jefferson and Sauk counties here. Summit is the first CU to partner with Business Lending Services (BLS). “We feel that we are now prepared to offer a better alternative to our business owner members than they may currently be receiving,” said Andrew Faust, Summit president/CEO. “(The CU’s) business members have already realized the benefit of belonging to a credit union for greater interest earnings and flexibility, providing a resource for their borrowing needs was the next logical step.” BLS currently has one office in Milwaukee area and will soon be opening an office in Madison. It is owned by the $1.4 billion Corporate Central, Hales Corners, Wisconsin and Business Lending Group, Inc. “We are ecstatic about having this opportunity and look forward to having a long-term, positive relationship with Summit Credit Union,” said Todd Schneider, executive vice president of BLS.
