HARBOR, Ore. – Chetco Federal Credit Union helped make some Brookings Harbor Home Show attendees’ dreams come true. “Judging by the public’s response and participation in the activities at our booth, our goal of promoting community goodwill and awareness was achieved,” said Chetco FCU President/CEO, Stan Baron. The booth, featuring a custom colorful backdrop depicting the Emerald City and the Wicked Witch’s forbidding castle, “transported” visitors to the Land of Oz. Attendees were then urged to spin the Twister Wheel in hopes of winning a heart, a home, a brain or some courage in the form of fun stress balls. A really lucky spin could also result in an entry for a chance to win a Sharp 32″ flat screen television. With fun for everyone, kids also took turns tossing the evil flying monkeys back into the Wicked Witch’s castle for lollipops and other fun prizes.
