EAST LANSING, Mich. - Jillian Maxey and David Mielnicki are the two lucky graduates to be granted a Michigan State University Federal Credit Union Real World Makeover. These grads will be in the spotlight for the next few weeks as each of them will receive over $5,000 in merchandise and services. The graduating seniors will receive a new professional wardrobe from Bella Blu Boutique or J Strolle, hairstyle and makeover with Douglas J Salon, Spartan jewelry from Wheat Jewelers, professional dress shoes by Cobblers Bench, tax filing service and advice for filing the next year's tax return from Simplified Tax, four hours of professional coaching from Aspire Collaborative services, LLC, professional briefcases from Betty Price Imports, financial planning and preparation from Sovereign Group, Smith Barney, a reveal party at the University Club of Michigan State University and a $500 credit towards their MSUFCU Visas. MSUFCU received an overwhelming response to the Real World makeover promotion designed to not only give graduates a new look and attitude but also highlight the credit union's dedication to providing the right services at the right time for students here. The winners will invite 20 of their friends and family to the final makeover reveal, to show the dramatic professional transformation on April 22, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. at the University Club. All stages of the contest, from the makeover to the reveal, will be shown on Lansing's WB30 network television. Both of the grads are very excited to start the professional transformation. "The MSUFCU Professional Real World makeover is a great experience that will help me in that next step after graduation and will help to prepare me to take on and best utilize the opportunities ahead of me," said Maxey. "The Professional Real World Makeover is a fine example of MSU Federal Credit Union's commitment to serving and helping its community," said Mielnicki.
