STERLING, Mass. – Leominster Credit Union has stepped up its financial literacy efforts with a recent partnership with Houghton Elementary School. LCU Sterling Branch Manager Kristen Pellerin and Teller Stephanie Hardy teamed up with Mrs. Gail Miller's fourth grade class of 20 students to teach the fundamentals of finance. The program, All About Banking, introduces students to the history of money, basic money management ideas, and credit union products including checking accounts and ATMs.
