COLUMBIA, S.C. – Three Fiserv units have announced signings of core processing clients recently, including two that involve credit unions leaving one Fiserv unit for another. The largest of the CUs involved is $180 million FAA Eastern Region FCU in Clark, N.J., which is moving its core processing and Internet banking to AFTECH. The 23,000-member CU currently is a client of Fiserv’s Summit Information Systems for core processing services and of Digital Insight for online banking, according to the 2004 Credit Union Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates, which compiles information about credit unions of $25 million in assets and more. FAA Eastern Region will be using AFTECH’s Advantage core processing platform, as well as aftech@net and online new member enrollment, self-service kiosks and other solutions, the company says. Also, IntegraSys says it has signed three new users for its Premier core processing system. They are $35.3 million Pittsburgh Central FCU in Wexford, Pa., also a current Summit client according to the Callahan book; $11.7 million Member Service FCU in Little Rock, Ark., and $10.2 million Mississippi National Guard FCU in Jackson, Miss. Meanwhile, $40 million Access Credit Union in Westchester, Ill., will be converting to the XP2 platform from XP Systems later this year. The CU currently is an Open Solutions Inc. client, according to the Callahan book. And OSI, for its part, announced this week that Bay Federal Credit Union in Capitola, Calif., will be deploying The Complete Credit Union Solution core platform as well as several ancillary products such as CRM, cash management and Internet banking. The $436 million CU currently is running on the ULTRADATA core system, according to the Callahan book.
