ELKHART, Ind. – Bayer Federal Credit Union is hoping young members want into Club G, a new financial literacy program wrapped up in a youth account. Designed to give kids from the age of birth to 11 a basic introduction into the world of financial management, Club G gives members a chance to earn points for every deposit they make. Points can then be redeemed for prizes such as backpacks, yo-yo's, binoculars and more. In addition, when a parent or guardian opens a Club G account for their child, they receive a packet of information to review with the child, as well as an educational coloring book and crayons. There is also information for the parents within the packet detailing special savings products and programs to save for higher education.
