FORT WORTH, Texas – Unity One Federal Credit Union has just wrapped up a Texas-sized grand opening party for its latest branch to serve the Hispanic community here in the Stockyards area. Once a former Burger King restaurant, the remodeled branch now has a distinct Mexican influence in architecture and design and offers services tailored toward meeting the needs of the area such as multiple cash delivery systems to accommodate "families on the go." In addition, the branch offers a 65-seat community room, which can be used by residents and/or to host financial education classes. The two-week celebration included activities ranging from Hispanic ballet performances and bull rides to free public services including immunizations, dental screenings, homebuying information and personal credit information.
