PHILADELPHIA – As a “thank you” to members for their loyalty in supporting its new state-of-the-art Temple University Branch on the ground floor of the Student Activities Center, Philadelphia Federal Credit Union has invited its members to watch the Temple Owls take on the George Washington Colonials at the Liacouras Center. The new facility features two surcharge-free ATMs with stamp dispensers and a plasma screen that displays an array of news programs and televised Temple sporting events. PFCU offered members and their families free and discounted tickets to the game and the chance to win a 27″ color television. At halftime, Temple University Associate Athletic Director Vic Cegles awarded PFCU CEO James McAneney with a John Cheney-autographed basketball in honor of the credit union’s support of the basketball team. “It’s nice to see that so many members and their families have turned out for this event,” McAneney said. “It is our pleasure to sponsor Temple University Athletics and welcome our members to an exciting afternoon of sports.” Temple University and Philadelphia Federal Credit Union have been working together since 1983 to provide Temple students, faculty, employees and alumni with quality financial products and services.
