March 26, 2005 marks another Credit Union Times milestone.our 15th birthday! A lot has changed in the years since 1990 when Volume 1, Number 1 came rolling off the presses. The printer, staff, ad reps, paper stock, correspondents, technology, and the editorial focus have all changed. In 15 years the number of pages per weekly issue has skyrocketed from 12 to as many as 152 pages in the issue dated March 2, 2005. That issue contained far more advertising than was sold during our entire first year in business. And the number of news and feature stories in its editorial hole surpassed the total number carried in all 1990 issues combined. What hasn’t changed is the unwavering commitment of Credit Union Times to publish not just the largest, but the very best credit union publication possible. As we blow out the 15 candles on our birthday cake, we hope readers agree we have stayed true to that lofty mission.
