SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Credit unions in the CO-OP Network can now offer their members a voice-automated ATM locator. CO-OP has deployed Apptera's locator application, which was initially launched early last year by Apptera – its first financial client was Bank of America. The system allows members to call in and search by street address or cross-street for the nearest ATM. CO-OP Network has 20,000 ATM locations. According to Apptera, CO-OP's previous touchtone locator system was compromised by last year's barrage of hurricanes in Florida. Apptera helped restore and upgrade the service.
