BOWIE, Md. – NASA Federal Credit Union members will now get personalized, targeted marketing messages when they use their credit union's online services. The $697 million CU has launched WebMRM, a Web-based marketing system from aaBeck Technology Group, which has been offering the product for about a year. WebMRM uses service mix, propensities and channel behaviors of individual members to create the offer banners and messages. "We wanted the same methodologies and criteria used for selecting who receives targeted direct mail campaigns applied to Web advertising," says Thomas Allman, NASA FCU's director of business analysis. Chicago-based aaBeck Technology Group released WebMRM last April and says it now is used by credit unions with combined assets of $10 billion. The company's technology partners include CUSO Financial Services for regulatory compliance assurance and FAFCU Financial, a subsidiary of F&A Federal Credit Union in Monterey, Calif., that specializes in transaction data extraction.
