ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Members being serviced by CUBS Business Services will soon have a more streamlined lending process thanks to a recent alliance. The CUSO partnered with Bankers Systems, Inc. to bring business lending documentation to its credit union clients. CUBS Business Services was founded in 2004 to meet the expanding small business needs of CU members, including its owners: Access First FCU, Allegis CU; Citizens CU, and Meijer CU. Since then, the CUSO has amassed more than $2 million in business loans, according to Jim Martin, loan manager for the CUSO. Martin said the CUSO will use Bankers Systems' Rembrandt Lending solution "because it pre-selects the necessary documents for each transaction and offers a straight forward check list at the end to help make certain the proper documentation was performed." "The Rembrandt Lending solution has the ability to accommodate our loan portfolio as it expands because of its comprehensive suite of documents that can help us remain compliant in all 51 jurisdictions," Martin added. CUBS Business Services is a partner company of CUMC Mortgage Company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of CUFFS Financial Services, LLC. Bankers Systems, Inc., a WoltersKluwer company, is a provider of compliance tools, technologies, and services for more than 12,000 financial banks and credit unions.
