Michigan State University Federal Credit Union, East Lansing, has recognized its top-performing employees during the Annual Crystal Award Dinner. Fellow employees nominated the winners with final selection made by the executive committee. This year's winners include Deb Premoe, senior class specialist; Lea Ammerman, manager of the Westside branch; and Paula Johnson, mortgage officer. Alaska USA Federal Credit Union, Anchorage, has named Senior Credit Development Officer John Duncan as the 2004 Employee of the Year. It is his performance in this role that earned him the employee of the year honor. In addition, Alaska USA FCU Vice President of Marketing Liz Behlke has been named the 2004 Manager of the Year. Award recipients are chosen based on their proficiency, professionalism, dedication, consistency of performance, initiative, and their contribution to the credit union's member service and financial goals. Global Credit Union, Spokane, Wash., has been presented the Large Business of the Year award by the Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce. Competing with six other area companies Global CU was recognized, for its outstanding customer service, exemplary service to the business community, contributions to community development and exceptional leadership in the region.
