CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Consumers in increasing numbers are embracing two levels of protection against Internet viruses and worms: hard security measures such as antivirus software and personal firewalls, and soft security measures such as installing ad- and spam-blocking software, according to a new report from Forrester Research.
