LENEXA, Kan. – CommunityAmerica Credit Union is beaming over its SVP of Finance and Information Services Guy Russo being named one of the Premier 100 IT Leaders by Computerworld. The award is given to executives who demonstrate exemplary technology leadership in resolving pressing business problems, according to the magazine. Russo was profiled in the Jan. 3 issue of Computerworld and will be honored again at Computerworld's Premier 100 IT Leaders next month in Scottsdale, Arizona. Some of Russo's achievements at CommunityAmerica include the use of voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) and the development of a strategic enterprise architecture system that reduced cost and improved efficiency at CommunityAmerica. Russo, a 22-year IT veteran, has been with the CU for three years.
