THORNDALE, Pa.- Citadel Federal Credit Union knows how to get members excited about a new branch at the Exton Square Mall-offer a mall shopping spree of up to $10,000. During the months of November and December, Chester County and Lancaster residents were invited to enter the Citadel Shopping Spree sweepstakes. Once all entries were in, eight Citadel customers were randomly selected, one from each Citadel office, to represent each Citadel branch location in the event. Set like a game show, the Shopping Spree event included a stage, music, and an energetic host in Citadel’s own Senior Vice President Mike Schnably. Christine Smyth selected the grand prize box bursting with balloons, earning her the chance to spin the prize wheel to determine the dollar amount of prize, which turned out to be $7,500. The remaining seven contestants each walked away a winner with $500 Exton Square Mall gift certificates.
