BETHESDA, Md. – Allpoint has signed up its first credit union in Arizona, making that state the 26th one in which the largest ATM network nationwide that provides surcharge-free ATM access to cardholders has participating banks and credit unions. The Network announced that the $94 million Huachuca FCU headquartered in Sierra Vista has become a participating member. Previously the credit union offered its members surcharge-free access to its two ATMs, according to Ben Psillas, president of the network. Joining Allpoint allows the credit union to provide surcharge free access to 32,000 ATMs nationwide and 650 ATMs in the state. Like other Allpoint members, Huachuca will pay Allpoint a fee for providing its members the surcharge free access that is based in part on its card base.
