Affinity Plus FCU Presenting Sponsor of "State Capitol in Ice"

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union has helped the community commemorate the State Capitol’s 100th Anniversary by being the presenting sponsor of the State Capitol in Ice at the 2005 Saint Paul Winter Carnival, held January 28 through February 6, 2005. Affinity Plus FCU President/CEO Kyle Markland unveiled the ice sculpture of the State Capitol, which has been on display at Rice Park. “The Saint Paul Winter Carnival is rich with Minnesota history,” said Markland. “And Affinity Plus is very excited to be part of this community event that celebrates one of Minnesota’s greatest traditions. We truly enjoy participating in events that bring Minnesotans together.” The 2005 Winter Carnival is host to a number of events during its 10-day celebration, including a royal coronation, fireworks, dancing, food and more. Affinity Plus FCU has been on hand providing much needed hot chocolate to attendees.
