COLUMBIA, S.C. – Scott Conley, chief financial officer of the South Carolina Credit Union League and a 20-year veteran of the organization, has been named the new president/CEO of May Plant CU, Lugoff, S.C., effective March 1. Conley joined the SCCUL in 1984 as auditor and progressed into various positions including comptroller and vice president of the Carolina Corporate Credit Union, and Senior Vice President of Finance/CFO for the SCCUL and its affiliates. He is a 1983 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Conley is also a Certified League Executive. May Plant CU has $100 million in assets and approximately 15,000 members. It has a community charter that includes Kershaw County.
