AVON, Conn. – COCC has expanded its agreement with Open Solutions Inc., a deal it says will ensure the core processor can provide its credit union and community bank clients the latest tools from OSI. COCC, which has about 30 credit unions among its 125 clients, completed a migration of its entire outsourced client base to OSI's core platform in 2003. The relationship between the two Connecticut-based companies dates back to 1997, when the former Connecticut Online first partnered with OSI to replace its legacy mainframe with OSI's open relational platform. .”Today's expanded agreement gives our client institutions access to more of Open Solutions' state-of-the-art data processing solutions. We know our clients will be more profitable and efficient as a result of this agreement,” said Richard Leone, president and CEO of COCC. Louis Hernandez, OSI's chairman and CEO, says, “We believe that we are at the early stages of a wholesale shift away from legacy technology and as a result, COCC and Open Solutions are positioned to take an active leadership role in this transformation within our industry.”
