Century Federal Credit Union, Lyndhurst, Ohio, has held a grand opening ceremony in honor of its new Lyndhurst Branch. The new modern facility includes such features as a 24-hour walk-up ATM, a Member Work Station that provides access to the CFCU Web site/online banking services and Saturday hours. Various events, promotions, and raffles will continue through January 15. Kellogg Community Federal Credit Union, Battle Creek, Mich., has opened its new KCFCU Connection Branch inside the Felpausch Food Center. This marks KCFCU’s fifth branch. Felpausch is an associate and family owned and operated food center, providing “people-pleasing” service while giving excellent quality, variety and value since 1933. There are currently 19 Felpausch Food Centers located throughout South Central Michigan. Municipal Credit Union, New York, has celebrated the grand opening of its Yonkers branch. The 3,500 square foot branch boasts a blend of old-fashioned in-person customer service and electronic state-of-the-art conveniences including three 24 hour ATMs, electronic service kiosks and new Teller Cash Dispensers to speed members through the branch. Mazuma Credit Union, Kansas City, Mo., has celebrated the groundbreaking of its Raymore branch. The 6,100 square foot branch will include a community room available to community members at no charge. In addition, plans are underway for the credit union to offer business services throughout 2005. Guardian Credit Union, West Allis, Wis., has opened the doors to its West Milqukee branch. The new branch features a three-lane drive thru, 24 hour ATM access, safe deposit boxes, improved parking, interactive online banking kiosks, a self-service coin machine and a larger full service facility. Tower Federal Credit Union, Laurel, Md., has celebrated the opening of its Gambrills branch. The full-service branch boasts the latest technology in banking including remote teller stations, three drive-up lanes, a 24-hour drive-thru ATM, and an ATM vestibule in the entranceway. APCO Employees Credit Union, Birmingham, Ala., has cut the ribbon on its Trussville branch. The facility is the credit union’s 10th branch. Credit union employees, board of directors, members and City of Trussville officials attended the grand opening celebration. Teachers Federal Credit Union, Farmingville, N.Y. , has introduced a new way of banking in their new Selden branch. The state-of-the-art facility has transformed drive-thru technology into branch technology using six Remote Teller Stations. There are also four traditional “live” teller stations available in Selden. Other branch features include 24-hour walk up ATM service and free coin machine service. American Heritage Federal Credit Union, Philadelphia, has cut the ribbon on its East Norriton branch. The newest branch, located in the Swede Square Shopping Center features four teller stations, two member service offices, an Internet cafe, coin counting machine and a non-surcharging ATM. Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union, Md., has broken ground on a full-service branch in Bel Air. The facility will include teller windows, member service representatives, a lobby computer and ATM. APGFCU’s 8th branch is expected to open in Spring 2005. Power Federal Credit Union, Syracuse, N.Y., has tapped design/build firm DEI Incorporated, for a major branch renovation. The renovation project, is slated for completion in the spring of 2005. When completed, the new Liverpool location will approximately double in size and provide state-of-the-art technology for faster and more efficient service to Power’s members in Northern Onondaga County. Fort Snelling Federal Credit Union, Minneapolis, has tapped Waukesha, Wisconsin-based design/build firm The Redmond Company for its new main office. The new 5,200 square-foot facility is expected to be completed in fall 2005.
