PORT HURON, Mich. – In an unusual cooperation, the $146 million E&A Credit Union and the $5.5 million MPG Credit Union, headquartered in Romeo, Michigan, have joined forces to place an ATM in Romeo. The ATM is an E&A machine that sits on an MPG site. The machine bears the logos of both credit unions as well as the CO-OP Network, the fee-free ATM network headquartered in Ontario, California. “Anytime you can reach out to help another credit union and their members, you feel good about your decision,” said Carole Visconti, executive director of delivery systems for E&E. “Once we had the commitment, it was just a matter of working together to bring it to fruition. We supplied the ATM, MPG supplied the location, and just like that we have a new offering for both our members.”
