MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Association of Credit Union Senior Officers (ACUSO) has donated $25,000 to America’s Credit Union Museum. The funds will be paid over the next five years, and ACUSO has already issued the first $5,000 installment. “We’re excited to be able to participate in this important project,” said Quincy Municipal CU CFO/Chief Technology Officer and ACUSO Chairman Shirley Laliberte. “Credit unions were founded on the principle of mutual self-help, and the museum does an excellent job of reflecting that heritage. As an organization dedicated to supporting credit union professionals in building their own expertise and industry knowledge, ACUSO is pleased to assist the museum in this way.” Created 17 years ago to facilitate the exchange of ideas and foster cooperation among credit unions throughout New England, ACUSO membership now consists of 95 credit union senior officers and 65 credit unions. The organization meets five times per year covering topics ranging from negotiation skills and product development for the small business market to financial management techniques. ACUSO administrative support is provided by EasCorp.
