HARRISBURG, Pa. – Pennsylvania credit unions participating in the state’s Financial Institutions Data Match program will soon be receiving information announcing changes to PA FODM. To start, effective Nov. 15, the Pennsylvania Bureau of Child Support Enforcement which manages PA FODM is using a new vendor to handle data transfers from financial institutions, including credit unions. The vendor change affects when and where a credit union sends member account data files (necessary to participate in the PA FIDM program) since file transfer addresses and locations have changed as well. The Bureau of Child Support Enforcement (BSCE) intends to send letters to all participating CUs explaining the vendor change and how it impacts their PA FIDM reporting responsibilities including technical information about transferring data files, which credit unions and their data processor need to know.
