GLENDORA, Calif. – Mission Federal Credit Union has tapped J.R. Bruno & Associates to help roll out its member business services program. J.R. Bruno & Associates, a business lending consulting firm to credit unions, will assist the $1.8 billion Mission FCU with member business loans and SBA loans. Anna Mendez, senior vice president of Mission FCU, said the decision to align with J.R. Bruno was motivated by the “combination of hand-holding and teaching as well as reputation and expertise” which will allow it to “retain the corporate intelligence as well as obtain a turn-key operation.” Mission FCU serves more than 124,000 members. The $759 million Orange County’s Credit Union recently signed on with J.R. Bruno to obtain its SBA lender license to offer SBA 7(a) loans.
