HARRISBURG, Pa. – eCU Technologies seems to have made it through its start-up phase. The CUSO has promoted Alan Brunner from administrator to chief operating officer, an indication that the CUSO is here to stay. eCU Technologies is the technology CUSO of tech-savvy Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union. The CUSO specifically deals in solutions, integration work, and add-ons for the Symitar core system. (It also builds kiosks.) From the start PSECU was very clear that it would not subsidize the CUSO and it had to make it on its own or it would not survive. "I believe this move shows that eCU is serious about its business and the service it provides to credit unions," said Brunner. "It also shows our clients that we are continuing to enhance the corporate structure, vision and overall direction of eCU."' Brunner has been with eCU Technologies for two years and with PSECU for 10 years.
