DENVER – With the acquisition of former Diakonia Credit Union, San Antonio-based Security Service Federal Credit Union has opened its first Denver branch. "We are pleased to welcome the members from this struggling credit union who are now members of the 11th largest credit union in the nation," says John Worthington, SSFCU senior vice-president of corporate communications. "Residents in the Denver metro area will now be able to experience the variety of products and services we offer, such as low interest rates, an advanced online banking system and expanded hours of operation." Staffed by 17 employees, the SSFCU Denver service center is a full-service facility that will feature a 24-hour, drive-through ATM and offer extended hours of operation.
