RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.- NCUA Board Member Debbie Matz will keynote a free `best practices’ Webinar Oct. 28 hosted by the California Credit Union League. During the session, entitled “Credit Union Differences: A Best Practice Showcase,” Matz will share information gleaned from her numerous Partnering and Leaderships Successes workshops around the country. Others speakers from the California and Nevada credit unions will also provide best practices information. “Many credit unions,” Matz said, “are implementing innovative programs that have proven successful in enhancing their services and reaching new members. However, their peers in other credit unions are often not aware of each other’s efforts. As a result, some credit unions are spending time and money developing tools that others already have. Sharing best practices can inspire more credit unions to form partnerships and offer new services that will enrich the lives of members across the country.” Time will be available for questions and answers during the Webinar scheduled for 10-11:30 pacific daylight time. For log-in information, contact CCUL’s Debbie Bishop at (800) 472-1702, ext. 3247.
