Tower Federal Credit Union, Laurel, Md., has been honored by Johns Hopkins Children's Center for its 2003-2004 contributions totaling over $15,100. Tower FCU members, employees, and volunteers participate in a variety of annual events by donating their time and money to benefit the Johns Hopkins Children's Center, which treats 90,000 sick and injured children each year. Altura Credit Union, Riverside, Calif., Senior Vice President of Marketing/Business Development Ricki McManuis has been named a "Woman of Achievement" by the YWCA of Riverside County. McManuis was one of six area women recognized by the YWCA for their outstanding contributions to the civic, economic and cultural life of Riverside County and for their embodiment of the YWCA mission to empower women and eliminate racism. The honorees were selected from nominations submitted by the community. Insight Financial Credit Union, Maitland, Fla., has presented Marketing Analyst/Webmaster Lindsay Urdal the Mission Excellence award. The award is presented quarterly, and it honors employees who demonstrate exceptional performance that contributes to the accomplishment of Insight FinancialU's mission and exemplifies its organizational values.
