LA HABRA, Calif. – American First Credit Union has taken financial literacy efforts to a new level-the workplace. The credit union has teamed up with the companies it serves to ensure their employees are financially savvy through the Let's Talk Money program, which features a team of credit union staffers who visit various offices and provide services ranging from "lunch and Learn" financial education sessions to participating in employee benefit fairs. While on-site, credit union representatives can also process real-time financial transactions for employees, including deposits, account transfers, check cashing, loan applications and account inquiries. "American First Credit Union is setting a new service standard by offering this innovative program to the companies we serve," said American First CU President/CEO Bob Street.
