WARREN, Ohio – Seven Seventeen Credit Union's deployment of an information management system on its intranet earned the $550 million CU the "Best Practices in Technology Award" at the 2004 Call Center Conference in Las Vegas. Using natural-language software from New Hampshire-based SilverCloud Software Inc., the credit union says it has sharply reduced redundant employee questions and the amount of time employees spend researching products and procedures for members of the 71,000 CU, Ohio's third largest. The September conference was hosted by the Credit Union Association of New Mexico.
