BROOKFIELD, Wis. - Fiserv, the noted financial product and information provider, is rolling out a gift card product available to credit unions. The product is called FLEXGIFT and is being offered through a partnership with the FSV Payment Systems. "Employees who feel their work is appreciated are motivated to perform to the best of their ability," explained Frank Smeal, president of Fiserv's bank outsourcing division. "By the same token, relationships with loved ones are strengthened when we take the time to demonstrate our appreciation for them. FLEXGIFT facilitates the expression of these sentiments for financial institution customers at all levels." The card carries the Visa brand and cardholders will also be able to use it at ATMs. Fiserv will provide the card with marketing materials and different packaging options. Credit unions will be able to use it immediately to reward employees or offer as a convenience to their members.
