CALABASAS, Calif. – Digital Insight has released a new loan origination system it says automates decisioning, streamlines operations and allows financial institutions to "underwrite a loan at anytime from anywhere." Called DeskTopLender Premium, the system integrates the consumer-facing AnyTime Lender, in-branch DeskTop Lender, and CallCenter Lender applications, the company says. DI says the system is unique with its use of a proprietary decision engine based on Boolean logic, the database search logic widely used across the Internet. The Web-based decision engine ensures automated decisions are based on an institution's lending policies and consistent decisions are received regardless of the channel from which the application is initiated. The system also streamlines front and back office lending operations and enables loan officers to focus on activities that increase adoption of additional products and services, says Bob Surridge, senior vice president of Digital Insight's Lending Division.
