WASHINGTON - Move over Yahoo and Google, Callahan & Associates has launched a new credit union specific search engine. The Washington-based credit union research firm said the new search engine, launched last week, searches over 180,000 pages, ranging from credit union league and association sites, to financial news sources and research firms. In the first two days over 1,000 searches were done on the engine. Users searched on over 100 topics, including SEG development, member profitability, board planning, risk-based lending policies, political challenges, asset/liability management, and CRM.The new search engine can be found at http://search.creditunions.com.
