EAST LANSING, Mich. – Former NCUA Chairman Dennis Dollar will be one of the keynote presenters at the Wachovia Securities Credit Union Investment School. In its 12th year, the investment school is available to those looking to discover how restructuring with the right strategy can make a difference in yield and income, said Mark Wickard, senior vice president, investments, for the Wachovia Securities Credit Union Strategy Group. Alternatives to traditional hedging and what investments may be right in the current interest rate environment will also be highlighted. Dollar will discuss emerging trends and NCUA Examiner Leslie Thomson will address real estate concentration and interest rate risk management. Attendees are invited to share their strategies for successful investment and liquidity management. The investment school will take place Dec. 1-3 at the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu.
