HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. – When residents attended a recent Long Island Ducks game People’s Alliance Federal Credit Union was hard to miss. The $205 million credit union sponsored the Ducks versus Somerset Patriots game and the first 1,500 fans received checkbook covers with the PAFCU logo. In addition, some 150 credit union members and staffers attended the event. “Everyone at the credit union was excited about hosting the game,” said PAFCU President/CEO Nicholas M. Lacetera who threw out the first pitch. “We just love the fact that we can socialize with our members outside of the credit union. It really brings us closer together.
